Plant Care Calendar & Reminder Export

Create a plant-check schedule and download an ICS calendar for Google, Apple, or Outlook. Reminders say to check soil and leaves before watering.

Schedule a check, then decide what the plant needs. A reminder should never make you water an already-wet pot.

Choose your inputs and use the button above to get a result.

A calendar that asks you to observe

Choose how often you want to inspect the plant. Each all-day calendar entry reminds you to check soil moisture, leaf undersides and drainage. The interval is an inspection rhythm, not a species-specific watering prescription. A check can end with “still damp; no water needed.”

The download contains a finite list of dates starting on your chosen date. All-day events avoid shifting to the previous or next day when a calendar uses a different time zone. Set an alert in your calendar application if you want a notification; the file does not request browser permission or send email.

How to import the file

Download the ICS file, then use your calendar’s import option or open the file in a calendar application. Prefer a separate plant-care calendar so you can remove a batch later. Import once: importing the file repeatedly may create duplicates. This is a one-time export, not a live subscription that updates automatically.

Record what each check reveals in the private care journal. If pots remain wet for longer during cooler months, space out watering while keeping regular observations. See seasonal houseplant care for changes to watch.

Frequently asked questions

Will the website send notifications?

No. The tool downloads a calendar file. Your calendar application controls alerts and notifications after import.

Does the calendar update if I change the form?

No. It is a snapshot. Remove an old imported batch before importing a revised schedule.
